About us

It started at a clinic's front desk

Head office in Toronto, a second office in Dublin, and customers in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland.

Joelle Grant ran the front desk of a multi-clinic physio practice, where an empty slot was money nobody got back. Kaveh Rostami is a payments engineer. They started Bookheld in Toronto to make the booking and the payment the same step.

The booking page came first, and it stays free. Payments followed, then the paid plans.

What people ask before they start

Is the booking page really free?

Yes. There's no monthly fee on Free, for any location. We earn 2.9% of each card payment, so if you take no payments, you pay nothing.

What's on Free?

A booking page with deposits and no-show protection, on one calendar. Reminders start on Solo, staff calendars and reporting on Plus.

What happens if I cancel Solo or Plus?

The location moves back to Free. Your page, your bookings and your deposits keep working.

Can I run several locations from one login?

Today each location has its own page, calendar and login. If you run 10 locations or more, talk to sales about setting up your group.

Which countries and currencies?

The US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, in US dollars, Canadian dollars, pounds and euros.

Do I need a website?

No. Your booking page is enough. If you have a website, add the widget with two lines of code.
